Name:Cecil Palmer
Location:Night Vale, United States of America
"A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead as we all pretend to sleep.

Welcome...to Night Vale."

Cecil Baldwin the voice of Night Vale Radio, the community radio station of Night Vale, a small town somewhere in the southwest US desert. Night Vale is very like most small towns: it has a library, a municipal airport, and a dog park. It also has a glowing cloud that drops dead animals, a waterfront where there is no water, and clocks with nothing inside but some grey matter.

Most of all, Night Vale has Cecil, whose soothing voice talks the denizens of Night Vale to sleep, warns them of discussing forbidden subjects (often by talking about them too much himself) and reminds them not to go into the dog park.

Appearance: Cecil is utterly nondescript. He is so nondescript that no one is quite sure what he looks like, except for the third eye and moving tattoos a pair of horn-rimmed glasses. He usually wears a tie.

Since Cecil is a podcast character and his description has not been given, I'm borrowing a few elements from various fan art works. Please don't assume your character will see or sense anything unusual about Cecil, and please contact me if you have any questions about his appearance, psychic terrain, or outfit.

Cecil Baldwin is from Welcome to Night Vale, and is the property of Commonplace Books. He appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in [community profile] milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
